After selecting the range, click on ‘OK’. Alternatively, you can manually enter the range of cells where the list is present. For me, it is the list of 12 months that I have entered. Now select the range of cells, where the list is present. In the ‘ Data validation ’ window, select ‘ List from a range ’ as the criteria, and tap on the ‘ Select data range ’ icon, as shown in the image below.
